Power of God-Elijah and the fire from heaven

James 5:17
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months
You shall have no other gods before Me. We know that’s the first and foremost commandment of our God. But the people of Israel turned away from God very easily and were worshiping the idols and false Gods following the false prophets of Baal.
This week in Kids church we are so excited along with the kids to lean about the Challenge on Mount Carmel made between the false God Baal and the God of Israel. When Elijah prayed earnestly God sent his miraculous fire from heaven that proved that there is no other God than the one true God of Israel. Sometimes we are also carried away by lot of the worldly things forgetting the true and only God. Let’s turn back to Him to receive the rain of blessings that He have in store for His people.
