Rahab The unexpected Hero-Chosen Vessel of God
This week our kids learnt about Rahab. The bible verse we meditated was from 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong”. The kids were very much interested and were actively taking part in the class while learning about the story of Rahab. Though Rahab was a harlot, yet she had faith in God by hearing about the story of Red sea been dried for the Israelites to come out of Egypt. Rahab was brave as she hid the spies from the King of Jericho. The kids learnt how Rahab saved the spies.
Kids Did have questions like “How come Rahab was saved without reading Bible?”. At the end kids learnt that though Rahab had a past, God is able to forgive all ours sins and she believed that the promised land would be given to Israelites. She and her entire household was saved just because she believed ONLY the Lord protect.
